A pista ficou total interditada e havia congestionamento desde o quilômetro 28. Por volta das 19h18, havia congestionamento desde o quilômetro 30 e a concessionária Arteris Régis Bittencourt chegou a interditar a praça de pedágio por questões de segurança.
Por volta das 19h44, a faixa da esquerda foi liberada no quilômetro 26 e havia congestionamento desde o quilômetro 30. Por volta das 20h31, a praça de pedágio foi liberada no quilômetro 57, havia congestionamento desde o quilômetro 64.
Por volta das 21h05, a praça de pedágio no quilômetro 57 foi novamente interditada para remoção do caminhão tombado, havia congestionamento desde o quilômetro 61.
Às 21h26, a faixa da esquerda foi interditada para reposicionar e destombar o caminhão tombado no quilômetro 26.
Por volta das 22h44, as faixas foram liberadas na praça de pedágio no quilômetro 57, havia registro de quatorze quilômetros de congestionamento. A faixa da esquerda foi liberada e a faixa da direita permanecia interditada no quilômetro 26, havia dois quilômetros de lentidão no local.
Por volta das 23h33, a faixa da direita foi liberada e o tráfego foi normalizado no quilômetro 26, na praça de pedágio havia sete quilômetros de congestionamento, no sentido São Paulo.
O tráfego foi normalizado na praça de pedágio um pouco antes das 0h40.
Contorno Leste
Por causa da interdição da praça de pedágio no quilômetro 57 da rodovia BR-116, devido ao tombamento de um caminhão no quilômetro 26, houve reflexo no quilômetro 71 do Contorno Leste, na região de Quatro Barras.
Por volta das 23h18 havia congestionamento de cinco quilômetros no quilômetro 71, no sentido Norte. O tráfego foi normalizado um pouco antes das 2h.
