Visando melhorar o atendimento a quem vai solicitar e a quem precisa atualizar o cartão Educard, o passe livre estudantil de Araucária, a Prefeitura de Araucária simplificou o procedimento.
A partir de agora, o interessado faz a solicitação na unidade educacional e, na sequência, precisará ir ao Terminal Central de Araucária (Rua Carlos Cavalcanti, 356, no Centro), após o dia 26 de dezembro, de onde já sairá com o cartão.
Tem direito à gratuidade no transporte coletivo local (Triar) os estudantes de escolas públicas de Araucária (da Educação Infantil ao Ensino Médio – incluindo Educação de Jovens e Adultos e Centro Estadual de Educação Básica de Jovens e Adultos), conforme lei 3.110 de 2017.
A Prefeitura de Araucária ressalta que é importante que pais ou responsável legal estejam atentos quanto ao funcionamento da unidade educacional no período de recesso escolar para que solicitem o cartão o quanto antes.
O cartão Educard de 2019 não valerá para o ano letivo de 2020. Tanto para a primeira emissão do cartão quanto para atualização (necessária todo ano) será preciso apresentar no Terminal Central o cartão Educard (se já tiver), Documento de Identidade (RG) ou certidão de nascimento do aluno e do responsável, CPF do aluno e comprovante de endereço.
O horário de atendimento no Terminal Central é das 8h às 17h30, de segunda a sexta-feira.
A isenção prevista no cartão Educard corresponde ao período em que o estudante frequenta a unidade educacional. O cartão só pode ser utilizado em dias letivos, conforme calendário escolar.
O benefício do passe livre estudantil é de caráter pessoal e intransferível, sendo proibida a sua cessão, venda, permuta ou empréstimo a outra pessoa. O uso indevido do cartão do Programa Passe Livre Estudantil pode ocasionar em bloqueio do benefício.
O pai, mãe ou responsável que leva a criança de até 12 anos para a unidade educacional também tem direito à isenção de transporte coletivo para levar e buscar.
