Na noite desta segunda-feira, um atropelamento no quilômetro 15 da rodovia BR-116, em Colombo, no bairro Vila Zumbi, no sentido de São Paulo, provocou lentidão entre os quilômetros 15 e 17.
Segundo a concessionária Arteris Régis Bittencourt, a faixa da esquerda chegou a ficar interditada e o tráfego estava fluindo somente pela faixa da direita.
No momento, km 15 (Colombo), sentido São Paulo, a faixa da esquerda está interditada devido acidente, e o tráfego flui pela faixa da direita, com retenção do km 17,8 ao km 15.
O restante da rodovia flui normalmente.

O atropelamento aconteceu um pouco antes das 18h45 no qual resultou na morte do pedestre de 46 anos. O motorista do veículo de passeio envolvido prestou as informações necessárias à Polícia Rodoviária Federal e foi submetido ao teste de etilômetro ao qual resultou zero.
O motorista informou que não teve tempo de frear ao visualizar o pedestre que atravessou a via em local proibido e a 400 metros da passarela. O pedestre chegou a ser atendido pelos socorristas mas morreu no local. O corpo foi encaminhado ao Instituto Médico Legal de Curitiba.
Um pouco depois das 21h40 o tráfego foi normalizado no local do acidente.
