A Rua Jorge Bonn, no Tingui, ganhou nova sinalização horizontal e vertical numa extensão de 550 metros, no trecho entre a Avenida Monteiro Tourinho e Hermínio Cardoso, próximo ao Colégio Estadual Dona Branca do Nascimento Miranda.
As placas e faixas amarelas indicando proibição de estacionar, limite de velocidade de 30 km/h e local de travessia de crianças foram implantadas nesta semana pela Secretaria Municipal de Defesa Social e Trânsito de Curitiba.
A sinalização da Rua Jorge Bonn foi solicitada pela diretora do colégio, Sandra Costa Ulsan, que representou os moradores da região no Prefeitura nos Bairros Boa Vista. O encontro para ouvir as demandas da população aconteceu no dia 24 de julho, no Salão Paroquial da Igreja do Santa Cândida, com a participação de 300 pessoas.
“A resposta veio muito rápida. Iniciamos a semana com a nova sinalização, o que deixou toda a comunidade escolar muito satisfeita”, diz a diretora Sandra Costa Ulsan.
No colégio estudam 1.200 estudantes em turmas do 6º ao 9º ano do ensino fundamental e ensino médio. As faixas de sinalização estavam apagadas e os motoristas não respeitavam as normas, expondo estudantes e familiares a riscos. “Ficou muito bem sinalizado e com isso ganhamos um trânsito mais organizado e seguro”, comemora Sandra Costa Ulsan.
A expectativa agora, conta a diretora, é para que os condutores permaneçam atentos e respeitem a sinalização.
