A Comissão de Constituição e Justiça da Câmara Municipal de Curitiba analisará o projeto de lei do vereador Jairo Marcelino que pretende proibir a circulação de patinetes elétricos nas calçadas da capital paranaense. A proposta será debatida em reunião nesta terça-feira, dia 26 de novembro.
Protocolado em maio deste ano, o projeto (005.00095 de 2019) do vereador Jairo Marcelino já teve dois pareceres aprovados na Comissão de Constituição e Justiça, ambos pedindo mais informações à Secretaria Municipal de Defesa Social e Trânsito sobre os impactos que a medida traria.
Na opinião do vereador os patinetes elétricos interferem no “livre deslocamento de pedestres”. Tanto a fiscalização da norma quanto o estabelecimento de punição a quem descumprir a regra ficariam por conta da Prefeitura de Curitiba.
No ofício enviado aos vereadores o titular da Secretaria Municipal de Defesa Social e Trânsito, Guilherme Rangel, argumenta que o assunto da “micromobilidade” está sendo discutido em âmbito nacional e que, em decorrência disso, aguarda o estabelecimento de novas normas regulamentares e diretrizes dos órgãos nacionais de trânsito para então definir uma proposta de regulamentação em Curitiba (leia aqui o documento na íntegra).
