Na noite de quinta-feira, 30 de maio, policiais rodoviários federais interceptaram uma carga de maconha de 3.936 quilos, em Cambé, no interior do Paraná.

A droga estava escondida em grandes caixas de madeira dentro de uma carreta. O motorista, de 42 anos, foi abordado na BR-369 e afirmou que saiu de Cascavel com destino a Belo Horizonte.

O tráfico de drogas é um crime grave, com pena de cinco a 15 anos de prisão. Esta apreensão faz parte de um esforço contínuo da PRF, que já confiscou mais de 95 toneladas de maconha no estado do Paraná desde o início do ano.
