A Arteris Planalto Sul, concessionária que administra a BR-116 no Paraná e em Santa Catarina, completou no último sábado, dia 30 de novembro, mais um marco histórico para a rodovia.
Foram 39 dias sem óbitos nos 412,7 quilômetros de extensão, trecho que vai de Curitiba, até Capão Alto, na divisa com o Rio Grande do Sul. O primeiro recorde ocorreu em julho de 2017, quando esse trecho da BR-116 ficou 48 dias sem óbitos.
Houve redução também no período de janeiro a novembro de 2019, se comparado ao mesmo período do ano anterior – 34 óbitos em 2018, e 25 em 2019 – redução de 26,5%.
“O tráfego da rodovia aumentou em 2019, cerca de 4,5% em relação a 2018, é visível que temos mais veículos circulando, e mesmo assim estamos conseguindo reduzir os índices de acidentes e óbitos na BR-116”, destacou César Sass, diretor de operações da Arteris, na região Sul.
Esse resultado é fruto de um conjunto de ações que a concessionária realiza, que vão desde obras de engenharia, implantação de sinalização, melhoria no pavimento, e campanhas de segurança viária realizadas em parceria com a Polícia Rodoviária Federal.
Uma dessas campanhas é o Serra Segura, que só em 2019 já foram 52 edições. Itens de segurança de caminhões, como sistemas de freios e condições dos pneus são verificados, e caso apresentem irregularidades são retidos. Durante esse ano foram mais de 3.600 veículos fiscalizados somente no trecho concedido à Arteris Planalto Sul.
Além disso a concessionária realiza campanhas para diversos públicos, desde pedestres, motociclistas, motoristas, passageiros de coletivos, projetos de conscientização em escolas e palestras sobre segurança viária em empresas lindeiras à rodovia.

Aw, this was an incredibly good post. Finding the time and actual effort to make a very good article… but what can I say… I hesitate a whole lot and never seem to get nearly anything done.
