Diversas ruas da região central da cidade terão alterações no trânsito, neste sábado, dia 18 de maio, em razão da Marcha para Jesus. Segundo estimativa dos organizadores, o evento deverá reunir 200 mil pessoas.
A partir das 8h, os participantes vão se concentrar na Praça Santos Andrade e às 10h iniciarão a caminhada em direção ao Centro Cívico.
Das 7h às 11h30 haverá bloqueios ao tráfego no entorno da Praça Santos Andrade, na Rua Conselheiro Laurindo esquina com a Rua Alfredo Bufren, Rua Tibagi com a Marechal Deodoro e na Rua XV de Novembro.
No percurso, os fiéis sairão da Praça Santos Andrade em direção à Rua Marechal Deodoro, seguindo pela Avenida Marechal Floriano, Rua Cândido Lopes, Rua Barão do Serro Azul e Avenida Cândido de Abreu, até a chegada na Praça Nossa Senhora de Salete, prevista para às 12h.
Para garantir a segurança dos participantes da marcha, a partir das 9h50 também haverá bloqueios ao trânsito na Rua Marechal Deodoro desde a esquina com a Rua Conselheiro Laurindo até a Avenida Marechal Floriano Peixoto.
A Superintendência de Trânsito orienta que os motoristas evitem circular pelo Centro no horário da marcha. Agentes de trânsito irão auxiliar na segurança e na orientação aos motoristas.
Avenida Cândido de Abreu
Já a Avenida Cândido de Abreu estará totalmente bloqueada aos veículos para a passagem dos fiéis e será liberada à medida em que eles forem passando pelo trajeto. A liberação total da Avenida Cândido de Abreu à passagem de veículos está prevista para às 12h.
A Marcha para Jesus continua na Praça Nossa Senhora de Salete até às 18h com shows, orações e projetos sociais. Os bloqueios próximos serão feitos na Praça Rio Iguaçu com o Largo Melwin Jones e na Rotatória da Rua Deputado Mário de Barros com a Rua Marechal Hermes. Esses locais ficarão bloqueados até às 20h, para a limpeza da praça.
