Neste domingo, dia 26 de maio, a Secretaria de Esporte e Lazer da Prefeitura de São José dos Pinhais, com o apoio da Secretaria Municipal de Transporte e Trânsito promoveu o Passeio Ciclístico Maio Amarelo 2019, que faz parte das ações deste mês.
O evento contou com pouco mais de 120 ciclistas de todas as idades, onde o intuito da ação é chamar a atenção da sociedade para o alto índice de mortes e feridos no trânsito, promovendo assim a conscientização de motoristas e pedestres.
O Passeio Ciclístico Maio Amarelo 2019 teve início às 10h com saída das dependências do Ginásio Max Rosenmann. A ação contou com apoio das equipes da Secretaria de Esporte e Lazer – por meio do Cidade Ativa Cidade Saudável, do Departamento Municipal de Trânsito, equipe do programa Movimento Pela Vida (Vida no Trânsito), Guarda Municipal e Polícia Militar.
Além de apoiadores como KNN Idiomas, Bike Shop e Dona Bina Restaurante. O grupo de escoteiros São Félix também marcou presença.
Durante o percurso do Passeio Ciclístico os ciclistas puderam aproveitar pontos de hidratação, e participaram de sorteio de bicicletas e acessórios. A organização juntamente com os apoiadores distribuiu brindes aos primeiros 50 inscritos.
