Alterações no trânsito no Bairro Alto, programadas para esta quinta-feira, dia 11 de abril, permitirão fazer a ligação no trânsito entre ruas dos dois lados da BR-476 (Linha Verde).
A Rua Bento Ribeiro terá sentido único da Linha Verde para o bairro até chegar na Rua Francisco Zuneda Ferreira da Costa. Já a Rua José Fernandes Maldonado, paralela à Rua Bento Ribeiro, seguirá apenas no sentido Linha Verde.
O trabalho está programado para começar às 15h pelas equipes da Superintendência de Trânsito.
“Essas mudanças permitem a conexão com as ruas Mercedes Seiler Rocha e Fagundes Varela, que ficam do outro lado da rodovia e já são sentido único”, explica a superintendente de Trânsito, Rosângela Battistella.
Outra implantação de sentido único começa a valer na Rua Domingos Fernandes Maia, da BR-476 até a Rua Santa Madalena Sofia Barat, neste sentido.
Semáforos
Ainda no período da manhã, serão ligados os semáforos já instalados no cruzamento da Linha Verde com as ruas Frederico Galvão e José Fernandes Maldonado, no entorno da estação-tubo Fagundes Varela. Os equipamentos estão operando no modo piscante e começam a operar por volta das 10h desta quinta-feira.
Já foram pintadas as faixas de pedestre próximas aos novos cruzamentos semaforizados. Entre a noite desta quarta-feira e a manhã de quinta-feira serão feitos os últimos ajustes na pintura do asfalto e, também, na implantação de novas placas de trânsito.
Agentes de trânsito estarão nos cruzamentos para fazer as orientações necessárias aos motoristas nesta quinta-feira e nos primeiros dias posteriores à mudança. “Esse tempo de orientação dos agentes pode sofrer alteração, dependendo da observação das equipes sobre o comportamento dos motoristas na região”, esclarece Rosangela Battistella.
