A Polícia Militar e a Guarda Municipal lançaram nesta segunda-feira, dia 2 de dezembro, a Operação Natal 2019, com o objetivo de reforçar os locais com grande movimentação de pessoas neste fim de ano, por causa do período de compras de Natal, nas áreas comerciais.
189 guardas municipais que estão em fase de estágio irão se juntar aos guardas municipais que estão atualmente nas ruas para reforçar a ronda nas ruas. Ao todo, serão cerca de 500 guardas municipais que estarão nas ruas.
O efetivo seguirá até o dia 6 de janeiro de 2020 nas ruas da região central e nos bairros com alta concentração de comércios, além dos locais onde serão realizados eventos natalinos.
A Polícia Militar não informou o número do efetivo durante a Operação Natal 2019.
Comércio de rua
O Sindicato dos Empregados no Comércio de Curitiba e Região Metropolitana informou a ampliação do horário do comércio de rua para as compras de Natal.
– De segunda a sexta-feira, o horário será estendido até às 22h;
– Aos sábados, o horário de funcionamento será das 9h às 21h;
– Aos domingos, o horário de funcionamento será das 10h às 19h;
– Na véspera do Natal, o horário de funcionamento será das 9h às 18h.
A expectativa é de que o movimento noturno aumente as vendas dos comerciantes.
